Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Junior Odoo Specialist to join our ERP implementation and support team. This is an entry-level position designed for a recent university graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (COMSI) or a related Information Technology discipline.

The successful candidate will receive practical exposure to Odoo ERP implementation, configuration, technical support, business process analysis, testing, data migration, reporting, and basic development. The role requires someone who is technically curious, professional, willing to learn, and comfortable working directly with clients and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation, configuration, and support of Odoo ERP solutions.

• Learn and support Odoo applications including Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Point of Sale, HR, Payroll, Manufacturing, Website, and Helpdesk.

• Assist senior consultants with gathering and documenting client business requirements.

• Configure Odoo based on approved business processes and requirements.

• Assist with troubleshooting functional and technical Odoo issues.

• Perform system testing and document bugs, findings, and resolutions.

• Prepare and clean data for migration into Odoo using Excel/CSV import templates.

• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation go-live activities.

• Provide first-level support to Odoo users and escalate complex issues when necessary.

• Assist with creating reports, dashboards, automated actions, workflows, and system configurations.

• Develop basic knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Git/GitHub, Linux, and Odoo.sh.

• Assist with reviewing logs and identifying the causes of application errors.

• Prepare user guides, technical notes, process documentation, and training materials.

• Assist with end-user training and demonstrations.

• Maintain accurate records of support tickets, development requests, and project activities.

• Follow company standards for data security, confidentiality, documentation, testing, and change management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (COMSI), Information Technology, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Recent university graduate; previous Odoo experience is not mandatory.

• Basic understanding of programming and database concepts.

• Exposure to Python, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or similar technologies is an advantage.

• Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Professional attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues.
